Xabi Alonso and Diego Simeone punished by UEFA
Diego Simeone and Xabi Alonso have been suspended a game each , on Thursday , by the disciplinary commission of the UEFA for their behavior during the Champions League Final in Lisbon on May the 24 .Simeone is punished for having left his technical area, when he tried to hit Raphael Varane.On the other hand ,Alonso is on his side was suspended for "violation of the general principles of behavior".
Despite being suspended for having received three yellows cards ,Xabi Alonso behaved perfectly during the Champions League Final, but when Bale scored the winning goal for Real Madrid (2-1 ), he couldn't stop himself and ran on to the pitch to celebrate it. His epic sprint to join his teammates will go down in the annals of the Madrid club.
The International Spanish Medfield will not participate in his team's match vs Sevilla at the UEFA Supercup on August the 12 in Cardiff.
