Will Diego Costa shine in the English Premier League ? 

Chelsea has officially announced yesterday the final transfer of Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid. The Spanish/Brazilian player has signed a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge.

The transfer of the 25 years attacker, Brazilian by birth, is estimated at approximately 40 million EUR .

The Centre Forward of the Spanish League "La Liga" champion and the UEFA Champion League finalist has scored 27 goals in 34 League games this season and 8 in 9 matches of the Champions League.

He had especially scored against his new club, on a penalty, in the 2nd match of the semi-final at Stamford Bridge (0-0 and 3-1). his second part of the season had been disrupted by injury.

Revealed in Braga in Portugal between 2005 and 2007, he was then exploded in Spain, Vigo, Albacete, Valladolid and then finally with Atletico Madrid where he has evolved since 2010, with a loan of six months at the Rayo Vallecano earlier in 2012.

This has allowed him to obtain the Spanish nationality where he played his 1st International match with Spain in 2014, after having played two friendly matches with Brazil.
