Jan Oblak will be Thibaut Courtois' replacement at Atletico Madrid

Since the departure of their loaned goalkeeper ,Thibaut Courtois, Atletico Madrid were looking for a new Goalkeepr to replace him , and it seems that they have finally found what they were looking for , it is Jan Oblak, the current Benfica keeper , for which they have not hesitated to spend some money to recruit.

Rumours where saying that Atletico Madrid will sing the World Cup sensation Memo Ochoa or even the young Simone Scuffet , for the present and the future of the club , but it seems that Atletico Madrid has finally decided to join the two, by signing Benfica's goalkeeper Jan Oblak.

Currently at the highlight of his career , the 21 Slovenian keeper managed to put his name in the first team last season , where he played a perfect season and was elected as the best Goalkeeper of Liga Sagres (Portuguese league)

Promising while having already made his evidence, it seems that Atletico Madrid had picked the best possible replacement for Thibaut courteous, who returned from his loan at Chelsea.

Atletico Madrid confirmed via a press release on their official website. "Atletico Madrid and Benfica have found an agreement for the transfer of Jan Oblak, pending the passage of the medical visit and the signing of the contract by the player. The Slovenian goalkeeper will engage for the next six seasons ".

Atletico Madrid board have not hesitated to offer 16 M€ to sign the promising goalkeeper. After they have set the succession of Diego Costa with the recruitment of Mandzukic, they arrive as well to put an end to the Goalkeeping problem.
