Khedira is set to make a financial effort

Khedira could reduce his salary to join Arsenal.

Since approached a few weeks ago by Arsenal, Sami Khedira would finally agree to make a financial effort in order to join the Gunners , while the negotiations seemed to be "dead" between Arsenal and Khedira, the German international would be ready to reduce his salary to join the Emirates Stadium.

According to the information published by Jose Luis Sanchez, a trusted journalist at The Spanish Sexta, Sami Khedira would be ready to make a financial effort in order to facilitate his transfer to Arsenal during this Mercato estival .

Jose tweeted out that the German International midfielder is currently considering accepting a 170,000 euros weekly salary, instead of the 190,000 originally claimed.

If Arsenal board refused this ultimate proposal, the player could stay one more season at Real Madrid and transfer for free at his contract expiration with the Merengue in June 2015.
