Willy Sagnol "Messi took people for idiots"

Messi spent his 2nd leg of the Champions League quarterfinal walking around the pitch.

The former Bayern Munich player Willy Sagnol attacked Argentinien Barcelona star Lionel Messi and criticized his performance in his team's match in Champions League against Atletico Madrid, where they lost 1-0 and got knocked out of the competition.

Messi only ran 6.8kms during the game, 1.4 Kms more than Barcelona's Goalkeeper Pinto which is not equivalent to half of the distance that Atletico Madrid player and Man of the Match Koke ran, Messi also failed to express his presence in the match.

The former French international said that Messi's performance is a sign of lack of respect to the fans as he did not show sufficient seriousness and accused him of unconcern to the Fans.

Sagnol said : "Messi did not care about the fans and spent most of his time walking on the pitch".
