Pele : "If I could play I would choose Barcelona"

If Pele could get back in time , he would have chosen Barcelona because of their recent unique style.
The Brazilian Football Legend Pele said that if he could return to play in this modern era, he would play for Barcelona club ,because of the Catalan's unique style.

Pele said in an interview published by Time magazine: "Santos was always my first choice, but in this age if I choose to play I will join Barcelona because of their unique style"

Pele said that if he was a player in this era, he would have been much better "because of modern technology and training technique, as well as the rules on the protection of the players from injuries which become more stringent,"

Pele had never faced Barcelona in official match, but he played four times against them in friendly matches, 1959, Santos won 5-1, 1960 Brazilians won 4-3, 1963 Barcelona Won 2-0, and in Cadiz 1974 where Barcelona won 4-1.
