Arsenal German defender Per Mertesacker confirmed that his team qualification to the FA Cup Final was well-deserved.
Per Mertesacker praised Arsenal's qualification to the FA Cup final after winning 5-3 on penalty kicks to Wiggan Athletic (titleholder) in the semifinal at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
Mertesacker said after the match: "I think we deserved to win taking in consideration the good performance that we had in the second half," Arsenal defender added: "our performance in the first half was weak, but we came back strongly in the second half,"
He added: "to make a comeback once again, as always, is very important in such sensitive matches, I think that we have a strong personalities, which is why we came back again today , often emphasized our desire to win , now we want to win the title".
