The Argentinean coach Gerardo Martino Admitted that Atletico Madrid deserved to qualify to the semifinal of the European Champions League when they managed to defeat his team.
Martino told Bein Sports after the match: "Atletico Madrid deserved the victory , they have made the difference in the first 20 minutes and scored a goal that was enough to qualify, we got some opportunities to tie , but we did not exploit them,"
Martino explained that he had expected fierce competition from Atletico: "At this level of the competition , we expect more difficult, they were extreamly dangerous and deserved to qualify" .
