Courtois may not be able to play the Champions League semi-final because of money

Courtois was loaned to Atletico Madrid 3 years ago, coming from the English Chelsea , but he is still related to chelsea with a contract until 2016, who bought him from the Belgian Genk back in 2011

Spanish media said on Thursday that Atletico will be asked to pay about four million pounds for Chelsea, if they wanted to play with the Belgian goalkeeper. Cerezo said in a press statements "we cannot afford to pay that amount of money right now".


it is worth mentioning that Atletico Madrid had qualified to the semifinal of the European Champions League for the first time since 40 years, after beating barcelona 2-1 (agg). The UEFA Champions League draw for the semi finals will be held this Friday in Nyon.
