Romelu Lukaku signed a 5 years contract with Everton
The English Chelsea and Everton clubs have found an agreement for the final transfer of Romelu Lukaku where he signed sign a five-year contract for the Toffees. Loaned last year to Everton, Romelu Lukaku has quickly imposed at Goodison Park where he became one of the fans favorites. Everton confirmed the transfer via a press conference.With 16 goals in 33 matches, Romelu has convinced Everton's board and coach, Roberto Martinez , to make him a priority during this transfer windows, they have finally , after tough negotiations, obtained the agreement both wished.
The transfer price has not been revealed but should be approximately at 30 million EUR , which is in this case, a record for Everton! Lukaku will be wearing Number 10.
Benched at Stamford Bridge by Diego Costa, Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres, the 21 years old playerreally had no other options than to leave Chelsea, a club that he had joined in 2011 , where he was loaned to West Bromwich in 2012-2013 where he scored 17 goals in 38 matches and in 2013-2014 to Everton, Lukaku no longer wished to be the subject of a loan.
At Everton, where they finished 5th at the English Premier League last season , and qualified ,theorfore , to the UEFA Europa league , Lukaku will be ,alons side with Kevin Mirallas, one of essential pawns on the chessboard of the Spanish coach.
Everton is an ambitious club and has proved these last few days by acquiring Romelu Lukaku and the Bosniac International Muhamed Besic and on the other hand, extending the contract of the young prodigy English Ross Barkley.
