The Spanish FC Barcelona is currently looking for a center back , Jerome Boateng is announced , today , as a very serious target , according to Radio MarcaMarquinhos (Paris SG), Thomas Vermaelen (Arsenal), Daniel Agger (Liverpool), Thiago Silva (Paris SG), Mats Hummels (Borussia Dortmund)... Since several days ago , many center backs names where associated to Barcelona in the Spanish pres , the Blaugrana club is currently seeking signing a center back , Radio Marca has revealed that Barcelona could have in fact approached Jerome Boateng
The Catalan board strongly appreciated Boateng's performance during the World Cup , in fact , the sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta had planned a meeting with Bayern Munich's representative last Thursday , and would have continued this meeting yesterday , after that Real Madrid had enquired about the player these past few hours.
According to Radio Marca , The 25 years old German International player could be sold for 39 Million Euros ,the Camp Nou's board , who has recently paid 20 Million Euros to sign the French Jeremy Mathieu , knows that they have to match Bayern's price tag to have a chance in signing the player and strengthening their defensive lines , especially with Boateng's good form , note that his contract with Bayern Munich expires in 2018.
